One of the more stealthy birds in our garden, it's a common visitor but not nearly as bright or loud as other birds. Should be the collared flycatcher if I'm not mistaken.
Visiting the wild seals is always one of the most exciting things to do while vacationing at the North Sea. This time we were incredibly lucky that this little seal decided to take a closer look at us.
A young common kestrel that apparently was either kicked out of its nest or fell down on accident. It didn't seem to get any attention from the parents over a long time. A few minutes after these photos it was picked up and brought to a professional, hopefully being cared for and thriving soon!
This pair of jays had chosen an interesting nesting spot: a broken streetlight.
They were therefore used to people passing by and were not bothered by me. You can see them in the first photo trying to get their parents attention. A very nice experience with these beautiful birds!
