This was the only gecko I spotted on Mallorca. And because it was night and the only light was a street lamp, the ISO needed to went up to 20000. I rarely even shoot at these conditions, but this little dude was just too cute not to. 😊

One of the somewhat rougher residents, the antenna catfish. It likes to shoo everyone else away from the food and is otherwise almost not to be seen. When it shows up, it's always cool to watch it. 🙂

Good Appetite! This absolutely gigantic garden spider has snatched a fire bug. The bug was tied up in the net within seconds and the spider crawled back into its hiding place.

This beauty should be a grown up Amanita (Amanita excelsa).
It is easily confused with the highly toxic panther cup, but that doesn't really matter if you don't plan on taking and eating it, which I didn't.
