Today is the day. Finally committed all the edits on my next book, which means I am now looking for an editor.

About the book: This book is a sapphic sport romance with 51,343 words. It is book 1 of my new series about various individuals in a fictional football league that's primarily comprised of women and trans individuals. This book is centered on a 20-something US football player of Mexican descent who gets injured, which puts her in a identity crisis of sorts. She falls for her physical therapist who is a black woman in her late 20s/early-30s. The plot is about how my MC handles losing her dream job while falling in love.

Has anyone tried knowadays #editing and #proofreading certification course?I honestly don't care about getting hired by proofed in the end, but I'd like to start a small side gig doing some editing and proofreading, and I want to make sure I have something backing me up saying I'm not a total schmuck. Their program seems solid, covers US, UK, and AUS English, doesn't go over proofing marks, but I think those are easy to look up and research if needed. Reviews on Trustpilot and Reddit seem legit, though the reddit ones seem to be people trying to get paid through referrals, but comments to those seem overall positive. There format is setup like the computer based training my job does, so I know how to navigate it.
