For over the past century, many among various #Christian #denominations have attempted to work for unity in what is called the #ecumenical movement, or ecumenicalism.

They strive to find the points on which they can all agree and emphasize those.

While such might be commendable, the various groups and people involved remain quite divided in terms of many aspects of Christian faith and practice.

#Ecumenicalism seems to be declaring victory in defeat.
