we keep diverse #EcologicalCommunities intact, protect forest #wildlife from the ravages of #ClimateChange, and keep climate-changing #carbon out of the atmosphere.

Together, old-growth and mature forests hold enormous amounts of carbon, safely stored in #trunks, #branches and #soil. Left to grow, they'll store even more.
