We can not birth a new world within the structures of the current systems.

This vulva collage is one of the first I made, if not the first actually. I’m not looking for answers within the organised religions, but I am looking for ways to move softly and spiritually through the world. Maybe this was a portrait of Mary, maybe she was another holy figure in a christian artwork, but now she situated in this collage representing more than a human being. She is the spiritual deep within.

This is one og my favourite collages. 🐌

I made it 2023 as a part of my eco feminist collage series of vulvas. Its called “soft” or “blød” in danish. I believe we are changing as humanity. We are returning to ancient knowledge, that are embedded deep in our bones. The knowledge of softness, natural ways, cycles, spiritual connection. Everything is interconnected.
