The latitude impresses me, especially in the highlights: coming from a year of digital, I’m stunned how much data remains where sensors would have clipped. Most times I just average-metered off the ground, ignoring highlights. The shadows hold up beautifully too, for my taste.

I feel this film, in #ECN2, scanned by #Silbersalz, has a lot of potential to explore — I see a chance to create images, with a “glow”, highlights more to my liking than in digital.

Adox ColorMission is almost done.

Tried out some Kodak Vision3 500T, rerolled, developed, and scanned by Silbersalz.

Shot at ISO 250 with a Biogon 35mm f/2.8 Contax (1950s), with and without a daylight correction filter (Ikolor F, 1950s).

Unsure if I’ll keep using the filter — I think the film looks great without and the scan could be graded. To my eye a lovely film, development, and scan overall. I’ll definitely order more 500T and give the 250D a try.
