We went on holiday to the Swiss Alps earlier this month, in Ausserbinn not far from the border with Italy. I won't bore you with a description of what we did or saw, but I do want to share the souvenir we took home with us. This is the end of the academic year party from students of AHK for students of AHK. It’s a fushion of artistic worlds and interests into one party. From music from the conservatory, to dance improvisations to projections of works of arts.

Founded in Mexico City in 2018, Discos Movimiento is a record label, podcast series and event platform dedicated to building deep and emotional dancefloor experiences without boundaries. Over the years, the project has become known for its carefully curated lineups, long-form musical journeys and strong sense of community, creating spaces where local and international artists can genuinely connect.

For this special two-day gathering at Bar San Francisco, Discos Movimiento takes over the musical curation while also bringing Mexican food and drinks into the space, transforming the venue into a more intimate and social experience that moves fluidly between daytime energy, shared meals and late-night music. Rather than focusing on peak-time club functionality, the idea is to explore a more open and eclectic side of the project — B-sides, slower moments and extended musical storytelling.

Across the weekend, the musical program will feature Marijn S, Lara Fein, Victor, Nico Borgio, Rodrigo P and a special guest from Mexico whose music has been released on Discos Movimiento and who is currently playing some of the most respected clubs and festivals internationally.
