Volgens sommige bronnen is dit een poging om de zon te bereiken na een lange, donkere periode. Maar dat is hier niet het geval, want hij staat al maanden op exact dezelfde plek en het is de laatste tijd best zonnig. ☀️
Ik ben hem wel de laatste tijd iets vaker water gaan geven. Zou dat de reden zijn? Wat denken jullie? 🤔💧

🇬🇧 Lately, this Echeveria has been growing quite a bit! Some sources tell me this is its way of reaching for the sun after a long, dark period. But that's not the case here - it's been in the exact same spot for months, and it's been pretty sunny lately.
I did, however, start watering it a bit more recently. Could that be the reason? What do you all think?

I accidentally made an original hybrid, though I’m not sure with what.

I usually cut the flower stalks off my echeverias but I was kind of lazy this year and left a bunch. I happened to notice that this one (E. simulans x E. ‘Helena’) had formed seeds.

I’m not sure I’ll be able to grow them properly, but here’s hoping 🤞

Echeveria pulidonis. So common that you can reliably find them at Daisō. But even the common varieties are quite beautiful ❤️
