Building on lessons from the Western Mediterranean (WestMED), Atlantic, and Black Sea strategies, speakers stressed the need for stronger coordination, policy alignment, and synergies with existing EU and UfM frameworks.

With the #EUOceanPact Pact calling for an #EastMed strategy and a feasibility study expected in late 2026, momentum is growing for a more structured EU‑supported cooperation mode.
