Who cares about reviews when they play East Hastings, but seriously, I did really like 28 Years Later.

An excellent open letter, and unfortunately will continue to be timely as Vancouver municipal authorities will probably repeat their clearance of urban homelessness whenever it seems politically important to them.

#BalmoralHotel on #EastHastings close to Gastown, opened in 1912 as a #HighClass #hotel for wealthy travellers. Chicago style elements of the hotel w/grid façade & massive overhang, were common on buildings built in the early #1900s in #Vancouver . #Neon sign on building was designed in 1940 by #NeonProducts, local company; in 1950s it was one of the biggest neon sign producers in the world.
