BTW, the XUL app format had an easter-egg.

It made references to the (original) GhostBusters.

There is a line in GhostBusters:

“There is no Dana. There is only Zuul.”

In XUL (which is pronounced the same as "Zuul" from GhostBusters) it says:

“There is no Data. There is only XUL!”

https://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul

Such as "gatekeeper" and "keymaster". Which are also GhostBuster references.
