So the Surface is kind of a bust right now, but I did have some success reviving my old 1st edition Nook. Luckily this was from a time that batteries were still normally pretty easy to replace, so swapping in a new battery was easier than making breakfast.

Still has a bunch of books I loaded on it too. It's weird to look back on what I was reading and interested almost 2 decades ago. Even my wallpaper is a throw back to the late 2000s 😂 #eink #ereaders #retrotech

Stuck in #Xteink delivery bad dream. I don’t normally recommend Amazon, but for your Xteink, definitely order from Amazon, not from the company in China. You’ll have some level of consumer protection that way.

It’s been 6 days since it was Out for Delivery. They never brought it, claimed I needed to confirm my address, I did that twice by phone and once in email, and they went silent (no they didn't, see update below). I’m out over a hundred bucks.
