It was published in 1998, and foresaw quite accurately to the current moment and past it, what could still be. Wars, percecution, racism, illiteracy, poverty, inequality, all there.
It’s brutal. But not without hope. And very educational, about the banality of evil. But also of hope.

Wow, this truck-sized delivery robot sure has the #dystopic aesthetic to match the direction society is going! Only a matter of time before cops are shoving people into the slots on trucks like this!
This was one of the most #dystopic scenes in #BladeRunner2049. I don't have a ton of #SocialAnxiety, but I can't imagine walking down the street and being singled out by an 80 foot holographic person who points directly at you and announces to the entire neighborhood how lonely you look.
