Le festival se concentre principalement sur la musique et les groupes, mais aussi des ateliers. L'objectif principal est de rendre les femmes / femmes trans / non binaires / genderqueer / et toutes les personnes qui ne sont pas des hommes hétéros cis - plus visibles sur la scène punk, d'occuper la scène et de créer un espace inclusif, diversifié et plus sécuritaire pour tout le monde. Les fonds amassés de nos soirées bénéfices serviront à payer les frais pour faire venir les bands de l’extérieur pour le festival qui aura lieu dans le cadre du journée internationale des droits de la femme à chaque année. Une partie de les fonds amassés du festival seront remis à une organisation féministe choisie en lien avec les besoins du milieu. **Yell Out reconnaît que le territoire sur lequel nous sommes rassemblé.e.s est le territoire traditionnel et non-cédé du peuple Kanien'keha:ka (Mohawk). ---------------------------------------------—------------------------------------------------------------ Yell Out is an inclusive feminist festival put together by people from the punk community to support the scene and the counterculture. The festival focuses mainly on music and bands, but also workshops. The main goal is to make women / trans women / non-binary / genderqueer / and all people who are not straight cis men - more visible in the punk scene, occupy the scene and create an inclusive space, diversified, and safer for everyone. The funds raised from our fundraiser evenings will be used to pay the costs of bringing in bands from outside of Montreal booked during the festival which will take place every year around international women's right day. A portion of the funds that are raised from the Yell Out Fest will be given to a feminist organization chosen in connection with the needs of the community. **Yell Out would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien'keha:ka (Mohawk).

For example, for our most frequently used call and response, one of us will say "Potato," and the other will reply "Waffles!"
