@mcfly Sorry to hear your loss. I get this method from my experience. I keep my photos on my pc and rsync them to a local network drive incrementally. My pc is backed up weekly to a remote server. I get to copy that to a offline drive I keep in a drawer occasionally. Any photo directory which I name after events are over and won't expand I collect 24Gb of them and write them to a BD-R with error correction with #dvdisaster. Make several copies and keep them stored off-site.
