As I listen to the news of the recent global escalations, I pause from my glass of #duvel and my copy of Contact by #carlsagan to consider the following:

Mag ik bierkenners en vooral de Belgische kenners een vraag stellen over #Duvel?
Ik drink graag een Duveltje. De gewone, klassieke van 8,5%. Bijna dagelijks, dus ik ken de smaak. (de Triple hop Citra drink ik ook graag, maar daar gaat dit niet over)

Het is mij twee keer overkomen dat ik een doosje aantref met 4 x 330cl waarin meer CO2 zit. Dat doet de smaak geen goed.
Is dit een productiefoutje, of is er bier bedoeld voor een ander land terecht gekomen in NL?

First sip is delightful. The coriander mixes very well with the malt, and there's just a slight tart-bitter taste that finishes it off with a little complexity.

Nou, ik moet nog oppassen ook met mijn Duveltjes. In Frankrijk ben ik er een keer ingetrapt. Ik heb fopspeenflesjes Duvel gekocht. Madurodam dosis biertjes.

250ml is ècht een tegenvaller hoor. 😲
Ze waren dus helemaal niet in de aanbieding, ze waren voor madurodam, Legoland of Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg bedoeld.
