On @somafm Indiepop Rocks this is the only contemporary Dutch artist that is getting some airtime. Completely understandable, Amber Arcades is simply amazing. Eefje de Visser level but then in English.
This is an album from 2023 but I haven't listened to it enough yet. It's also because I totally loved European Heartbreak and this one feels more ambitious, bigger, more serious.

Space Siren meets Zoppo. Was the title inspired by a Joy Division song maybe? No Filip Mertens (formerly White Broncos and Glameoki) on keyboards this time. But with Ineke Duivenvoorde (Space Siren) on drums, Kees van Appeldoorn (Zoppo) on guitar and vocals, Bart Schotman on guitars and Aico Turba (Space Siren) on bass.

Bought this record from a Dutch band in France. It has price tags on it from the UK. Looks like nobody wanted this record at the time. And that while this is a great album from a great band. The precursors to the almighty Bettie Serveert.
