Jokin aika sitten uutisoitiin kuinka some voi olla uhka demokratialle, mikä ei ole mikään ihme, koska suurilla yhteisöpalveluilla, kuten Metalla, on liitoksia poliittisiin päättäjiin. Meta on esim. lopetti Facebook-ryhmiä, jotka kertoivat ICE-agenttien toiminnasta Minneapolisissa.

Me ihmiset olemme muutenkin aivan liikaa puhelimella rakentamassa minäkuvaa somealustoilla. Olen harkinnut siirtymistä dumb phonen käyttöön.

J'invoque #Mastohelp pour ma tata de 80 ans qui est à l'hôpital. Elle n'arrive plus à utiliser son smartphone et voudrait revenir à un modèle à touches.
Seulement je voudrais lui trouver un modèle qui fasse aussi routeur Wifi afin qu'elle puisse continuer d'utiliser sa tablette sans passer par un réseau wifi invité.
