Being #unavailable gives your mind time to "breathe", go at its own pace, uninterrupted, and to chew on your ideas and whatever kind of creativity inspires you.
We didn't know it at the time, but my gen was creatively blessed to be able to be analog "bored" because, barring a landline, we were literally offline & there was no way to notify us that someone was trying to reach us for something. Not everything is mission critical.

Here's some information from an old. Part of going analog is learning & happily acclimating to an "unavailable" lifestyle. Make sure your devices are dumb enough & your mind is made up enough to be more unavailable. They called my gen "feral" , but we were actually "free". The out of the house in the morning, & not getting back until the street lights came on? TRUTH. #imagination was our tech. Find your version of that. gl

Hmmm. Why go with a company that has a history of locking formerly free products into a monthly subscription? Then how secure is it? If a security hole is found how do we patch? What information is sent out? Can I use a local server instead of the corporate server?
I recently bought a new f******g smart TV vizio - vizio in Italian means vice - now this f******g TV comes with its own android like environment and apparently won't work if you don't setup an account with them...
Holy shit how can't you get mad with this f*******g Corp?
Everytime the same and the same pattern. Didn't work anything and it prevented to use the FireTV which is from another f******g corp, but at least work.
To retake posses of this f*****g TV I had to do a factory reset without connecting it to internet. In this case it works as a standard TV and allows the FireTV to operate the TV (volume and power).
Have been fun using the FireTV meanwhile Amtson allowed to install custom launchers without rooting the device... And as any other f*******g Corp it disabled this feature. The official launcher is the big shit ever and I hate it.
I don't want use any #smartdevice instead I want #dumbdevices that work for me not against me! For its shitty UI who knows how many #opensource licenses vizio infringed? And who care if this devices use #Linux, #freesoftware and the like of then are using against you? It is a huge amount of shit here!
Next time I'll buy a huge monitor I already a minipc to use as media center and I fuck up all the f*****g corps that really pissed me off.
Last but not least a kind word for those f*******g #DRM the only reason they exist is for controlling the way you access such content, the least control you have the more the technology will be design against you! The W3C embraced the DRM and modern web technology now are constantly built up against us...
