So the geology in the cinque terre is incredible. Nearly the entire coast line is made up of #ductile #folds (I think). I still haven’t really looked at these pictures or researched the geology. I believe there is a considerable amount of limestone and something else.

Depending on your client and device I would suggest zooming in on this image. To me it was a unique scale of this type of formation. Seems very chaotic, or violent. Difficult to find any patterns to theorize how and why.
