Da das Studio in Phoenix keine Echokammer hatte, nutzte Hazlewood einen 2.000-Gallonen-Wassertank, um Eddys typischen "Twang"-Sound zu erzeugen. Die 1958 veröffentlichte Single war Eddys 1. US-Charterfolg. Der Song war auch auf seinem Debütalbum "Have Twangy Guitar Will Travel" (1958), das Platz 5 der US-Charts. 1970 erschien in Europa eine gleichnamige Compilation.
