Does Linux also support that #DOS-like #DualMonitor with #MDA output on one screen and #VGA on a second screen? (video via @rasteri )

Cuz I'd love to support that in _OS/1337 as a neat option to optionally output anything else than 80×25 #TUI…

I have one of those (actually twice the storage and an i9 CPU) and it is one of the best purchases I've ever made even though I paid more than double of that Black Friday deal. Amazing quality, extremely convenient format for lots of productivity.

I say "Win laptop" as my exploration for installing Linux on it taught me I should wait a bit with that, due to drivers/power-save etc for the double monitors.

So my secondary #Monitor in my #DualMonitor setup, stopped working.😢
It would seem the #Asus VG248QE #DisplayPort controller chip has gone bad & will no longer link.
So I'm down to 1 screen Asus VG278QR.
Good news the #HDMI Port on the VG248QE still works but HDMI only does 85Hz refresh rate, the DP port did 144Hz.
So I will give it to my mom's setup.
The timing just suck as I'm low on $ right now & my next monitor is going to be Asus XG27AQMR
