It sounds incredibly good, even with the stock heads! 😱 I feared, that I have to change the heads pretty fast, but man…. They are huge! Now I’m also convinced about coated #drumheads

I have a pretty basic cymbals setup, but in the next few months I’ll expand it with some effect cymbals.

I always wondered what do to with used drums heads, as they're usually still in good shape when I change them for a recording.
For this piece, I used ink that I spilled by hitting the surface with drum sticks (what else), and acrylic paint and ink applied with guitar pick and strings.
By combining the transparent bottom head and a white top head of a snare, I can tune this piece to my mood.
