As I drove home late this evening, I happened across a wreck before police arrived. A car was pretty smashed up and missing a wheel, but fortunately no one was badly hurt. I put out a couple of flares to warn drivers coming out of a fast turn.

If you drive, please keep at least three highway flares in your car, and if you use them, put them in the center of the road or lane, away from brush that could ignite.
