Major Humphreys was also the father of the poetess Cecil Frances Humphreys Alexander and father-in-law to William Alexander (bishop of Derry and Raphoe, Archbishop of Armagh and later Primate of All Ireland).

Dismal. Our taxes pay for tourists’ toilets, yet we don’t rate the humanity to have our own relief in public places whether train stations, shopping, Art walk, parks, beaches.
