Divertidísima burrez en clave de slasher de la era directa a video con toques de comedia unos añitos antes de que Scream resucitase el género atinando en la sátira. Puede que Dr. Giggles no sea una gran película en el ámbito creativo o interpretativo, pero destila una simpatía casi de dibujo animado con su villano protagonista de gimmick quirúrgico y sus risitas, los personajes adolescentes que son un microcosmos de esos primeros 90 dejando aún atrás los coletazos ochenteros, unas muertes y métodos de dar matarife sorprendentemente variados y un desfile continuo de one liners de índole médica que es

That was more fun than I thought it would be based on the cover art. I thought we might have been in for another Rottentail, which was one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched with y’all.
