Modigliani (1884 - 1920) was an Italian #draftsman, #painter, and #sculptor, known for his scandalous nude #paintings.

He was handsome, drank heavily, took drugs, and lived his short life to the fullest.
He often depicted the human form and referenced the #Renaissance and African #art in his works.He did not identify with any art movement.
