Been doing the #wardrive since 2004. The rigs have come SO far in that time. The wireless tech has propagated to unimaginable density.
And I'm here to put #dotsOnMaps and capture #allTheWifi (and BlueTooth) that will show it's face :)

And we’re at #66 on the @wiglenet big board! An addition of nearly 43,000 APs from my kid traveling with the #stumbleBee made for a big gain and a strong close to the month.

What I love about @wiglenet is that the center of this capture is the @MNRenaissance - a festival village in the middle of the Louisville Swamp and a sand pit.

Tips for #wardrive success
Multiple @wiglenet #wigleWifi devices but no SIM cards? Connect them to your active phone Hotspot while you drive. You’ll get map updates & backup GPS location while you drive!
Data consumption is minimal and the ability to use Follow Me on the map display is super valuable to full coverage!
Milestone achieved - 6,000,000 files processed on @WiGLEnet was passed sometime early this morning

My son ran a 15K race in 1:00:02 this morning. Third place overall. VERY PROUD!
Trying to do my part, I got over 15,000 new BlueTooths points on ONE of four rigs running during the spectating. Just trying to find #allTheWifi on Boom Island! And managed to walk 4.5 miles in the process.
