Daldowie Dovecot (or doocot in Scotland) on Hamilton Road in the east of Glasgow. It was originally built in the 18th century in grounds of the Daldowie House Estate to house pigeons. By the 20th Century, the dovecot found itself on the grounds of a sewage treatment works. It was moved to its currently location (whcih is not particularly easy to access) in 2000 to make way for a new road.
