#Google präsentiert (in einer Mail an mich als Entwickler) stolz deren neues "Sicherheits"konzept. Und ich bin mittlerweile wohl Teil des Problems, da ich Google zu dieser Position verholfen habe. Warum dürfen bitte die Nutzer*innen meiner App ihr Handy nicht so benutzen wie sie es wollen?

Die "böswilligen[sic] Akteure" scheinen mir eher im Silicon Valley zu sitzen, wenn (laut dieser Mail) jedes Android-Handy in Zukunft alle unbekannten Paketnamen mitsamt Entwicklersignatur an eine zentrale Datenbank von Google schickt und Google sich dann einbildet, darüber bestimmen zu dürfen was ok ist und was nicht.

And still: the old web was good in so many ways for so long. The Tron-pilled amongst us held the line. When we build a new, good, post-American internet, we're going to need a multitude of Tron-pilled technologists, old and young, who build, maintain – and, above all, defend it."
