All this because he lost his legal case to ban wind turbines in Scotland that were visible from his golf course there. Not only did he lose and the wind turbines got built, but he was forced to repay the Scottish government almost $300K to reimburse them for their legal costs.

The problem plateau has pretty much been reached, yes.
But I never argue from that point, personally. I'm always leery of entering into a "[God of the Gaps]"-type argument*, as it's setting up a defeat later on. The problem is primarily ethical, the fight is ethical, and that's where I will continue to remain, whacking against the giant planet-destroying windmills like #DonQuixote.
* In this case, loosely applying the notion of "Well, science can't explain how bumble bees fly!" to the notion of "Well, LLMs still can't count the 'r's in 'strawberry'!" as an (eventually) self-collapsing argument
