Koa doesn't like to be crated, especially when he's having such a good time. But, he's a puppy, and he needs to take enough rest, and I need to guard that... So I do... And get the sad howls for it...
It's hard to ignore the howls, but I just keep talking to him, and usually, within a few minutes, he'll surrender, because he knows he's tired as heck. 😇

Koa was not too happy with me cutting back on his play time. But, he's still a baby, and I have to make sure that he doesn't overdo it, as this can damage his growth. So, after some protesting, he finally saw wisdom in getting some rest, and he snoozed away... 😴

Our neighbor helped with the finishing touch on Koa's little beaver-tail, as the breeder called it. And as a reward for both Koa and the neighbor, there were some cuddles in the sun... ☀️
