DKP/BÖG Commemorates Fallen Fighter Robin Agiri!

Robin Agiri, born Michael Israel, fell fighting ISIS in Rojava participating in the war, and now being commeorated by DKP/BÖG — the Communist organization he joined. The organization was part of the International Freedom Battalion, the coalition of Communists and anarchists who found unity in armed struggle. In an interview in 2015 Michael stated he came to Rojava not to simply fight against the fascism of ISIS but primarily to “struggle against capitalism and Turkish imperialism in the region.”

It was this same imperialist force, a NATO military, that murdered Michael and many others in a customary act of aggression against revolutionary forces in the region.

Our Party Founding Leader, Commander and Teacher Ulaş Bayraktaroğlu, who played a great role in bringing us to this day, was immortalized on May 9, 2017. Our immortals will always continue to lead and guide us in our march to the future. On this occasion, we consider it our duty to state once again that we will walk with the most determination in the revolutionary march opened by our immortals in the person of our Commander, Leader and Teacher Comrade Ulaş Bayraktaroğlu (Mehmet Kurnaz), which is the beginning of the Immortals Week. On the occasion of the Immortals Week of May 9-16, we commemorate our comrades who have been immortalized in this struggle with the most revolutionary feelings and bow respectfully to their precious memories once again. DKP/BÖG has strived with all its might to carry the flag of uninterrupted revolutionary attack even further in every field of the struggle in a 10-year historical process extending from the November Initiative to the present.

Our efforts to be worthy of the valuable memories of all the immortals in the person of Ulaş Bayraktaroğlu and to create an advanced Communard revolutionism on this basis continue. On this basis, the struggle practice of the immortals is also a revolutionary duty instruction to all comrades. This instruction is to equip our immortals with a revolutionary and sense of duty worthy of them and to fulfill their duties in the most complete way.

Today, fascism continues to oppress the working class, the oppressed, the youth and women. On this basis, our party will continue to fulfill its duties in line with its historical responsibilities in the struggle against fascism and to be a candidate for new duties.

Our determined struggle continues to organize the struggle based on the needs of the Turkish revolution and to fulfill military, political and political duties. Our party was essentially founded in the atmosphere of political morale and revolutionary energy created by the Gezi resistance and later the Kobani resistance. Significant prices have been paid and continue to be paid in the process of the struggle that has continued until today. Today, our party continues to raise the flag of proletarian socialism and carry it higher in revolutionary war positions, in dungeons, on the streets and in every area of ​​life. When the recent developments in terms of the struggle of the working class in Turkey are considered, it is necessary to see that Turkey’s political life is in the early days of significant changes and transformations. At the same time, the world imperialist capitalist system has also entered the conjuncture of World War III. Under these conditions, we are entering a period in which important developments will take place in terms of the struggle of the working class and the oppressed on a global scale. DKP/BÖG MK; “We Will Clean up the Remnants of ISIS and Defend the Rojava Revolution!”

In the conjuncture of the Imperialist War, the occupation attacks against the peoples of Syria and Rojava have gained momentum. On November 27, with the support of AKP-MHP fascism, HTS launched an invasion of the Syrian regime, and simultaneously the occupation attacks launched by SNA gangs on Til Rifaat and then Manbij, continuing with the collapse of the 61-year-old Baath regime and the honorable resistance of the SDF and the Kurdish people.

Fascist Erdoğan and his government have offered their full support to the ISIS remnants and have given the message that they are on the side of the new Syrian government from the very first moment. Fascist Erdoğan is the planner and executor of this invasion attack in the background. The peoples of Syria and Rojava are paying the price of the dirty deals of international imperialism.

Since the beginning of the war, dozens of women and children have been killed due to the bombings of the Turkish state, aircraft attacks and attacks by gangs. The paramilitary forces of AKP-MHP fascism have never hesitated to commit war crimes. All the so-called democratic states of the world are watching these massacres without making a sound.

Turkish fascism and Israeli Zionism took advantage of the tensions in the international conjecture and accelerated their invasion attempts. Under the pretext of their so-called security, Israel on the one hand and the Turkish state on the other hand are occupying Rojava and Syrian lands by gangs. These two murderous states of the Middle East act under the direct auspices of imperialism.

The SDF and its forces, which put up an epic resistance, especially in Manbij, put up serious resistance against the invaders and inflicted losses on the enemy. After Manbij, Kobane and other Rojava lands are threatened by gangs and the fascist state.

We will shoulder the struggle to clear the invaders from Rojava lands, which will be Cemre Heval in Manbij against the gangs of fascism, Aynur Ada and İmran Fırtına in Til Temir against AKP-MHP fascism, and Partizan Amed in Hasakah against ISIS gangs. Our Party will resolutely walk on the path opened by our Leader Ulaş Bayraktaroğlu without deviating from the revolutionary war line.

A military failure of the AKP-MHP fascist government on Rojava soil will accelerate its dissolution at home. With the consciousness it derives from proletarian internationalism, our party calls on the working class and toilers of Turkey not to be a party to the occupation attacks of the fascist Erdoğan regime and to raise the struggle against fascism.

The liberation of the working class, toilers and the oppressed depends on organizing against fascism and uniting around the banner of the United Revolution. We must not allow the Salafi-jihadist gangs supported by the fascist Erdoğan regime to drown the Rojava Revolution in darkness.

The working class and toilers of Turkey should not leave the Rojava Revolution alone. Turkey should raise the flag of solidarity with the Rojava Revolution in its metropolises.

We will clean up the remnants of ISIS and defend the Rojava Revolution!

Long live proletarian internationalism!
