Da unser Ausbau vorüber ist kommen jetzt so die kleinen Dinge die den Van so richtig gemütlich machen, wie z.B eine Pflanze.
So Bund wie auf dem Bild wird es bei uns sicher nicht 😅 aber wie ist das eigendlich mit der Befestigung?
Pflanzenhänger sind zwar schön, aber die Fahrt über muss die Pflanze doch irgendwo sicher verstaut werden, oder?
Wie macht ihr das?
Habt ihr Pflanzen im Van?
Und wen ja wo hat sie ihren Platz?

Now that our extension is over, it's time for the little things that make the van really cosy, like a plant.
It certainly won't be as wide as in the picture 😅 but what about the mounting?
Plant hangers are nice, but the plant has to be stowed somewhere safe for the journey, doesn't it?
How do you do that?
Do you have plants in the van?

Für unser neues #diy Bett-Sofa haben wir uns zugeschnittene Kaltschaummatrazen und wunderschönen blauen Möbelstoff vom lokalen Stoffladen geholt.

Dieses #doityourself #projekt für unseren #t4 stand schon lang auf der Wunschliste von Jo.
Zuerst haben wir uns einen guten Plan für die Zuschnitte der Stoffe gemacht. Dann wurde ruck zuck die Schere angesetzt.
Ein bisschen zittert man da schon, so teuren Stoff zu zerschneiden. ✂️😖☺️
Und dann ging es auch schon an den Tacker.
Der Trick: erstmal die langen Seiten gut fest tackern.
Danach dann die Ecken wie bei einem Geschenk einschlagen und glatt ziehen.
So geht's super schnell und ohne Knitterfalten.
Dafür, das wir das das erste Mal gemacht haben sieht's doch echt toll aus, oder?

For our new #diy bed sofa we picked up cut to size cold foam mattresses and beautiful blue upholstery fabric from the local fabric shop.

This #doityourself #project for our #t4 has been on Jo's wish list for a long time.
First we made a good plan for cutting the fabrics. Then the scissors were set to work in no time.
You do shiver a little when you cut such expensive fabric. ✂️😖☺️
And then it was off to the stapler.
The trick: first staple the long sides firmly.
Then fold in the corners like a present and smooth them out.
That way it's super fast and without creases.
Considering it's the first time we've done it, it looks really great, doesn't it?

🇩🇪Unsere Hundebox ist endlich fertig und es ist mehr als nur eine HundeBox.
Die Fläche auf der Box ist zu einem Teil die Unterkonstruktion für unser Bett, zum anderen Teil ist es unsere Küchenarbeitsplatte.
Damit diese leicht zu Reinigen ist, haben wir eine Große Fliese zugeschnitten und auf die Box geklebt. So gibt es keine Fugen wo Schmutz sich sammeln kann 🤗.
Die Tür der Box kann man aushängen, so kann die Tür einfach und platzsparend entfernt werden, wenn wir den Drehsitz im Raum brauchen.
Die Box hat eine Liegefläche von 72cmx85cm und ist auf einer Siebdruckplatte aufgebaut. Die übrige Box ist aus 1,5cm Multiplex Fichte.Natürlich wieder gebeizt und mit Wasserlack behandelt.
In den Wänden sind natürlich auch noch Bohrungen damit Momo nicht in einem dunklen Kasten hockt.🐕‍🦺

🇬🇧Our dog box is finally finished and it is more than just a dog box.
The surface on the box is partly the substructure for our bed, and partly our kitchen worktop.
To make it easy to clean, we cut a large tile and glued it to the box. This way there are no gaps where dirt can collect 🤗.
The door of the box can be unhooked, so the door can be easily removed to save space when we need the swivel seat in the room.
The box has a lying surface of 72cmx85cm and is built on a screen printing plate. The rest of the box is made of 1,5cm multiplex spruce, of course stained and treated with water varnish.
Of course, there are also holes in the walls so that Momo doesn't have to squat in a dark box.🐕‍🦺
