TODAY, ON "THINGS THAT NO ONE CARES ABOUT"...
I USE ARCH BTW
The phrase "I use Arch BTW" is a joke, by the way. Many think it mocks Arch users who feel superior for using Arch. But nowadays, some Arch users use the meme to subtly and cleverly poke fun at those who don't use Arch and think it's difficult, and also think that true Arch users care about it or find it hard to install. Well, no, at least not in my case or among several Arch users I know.
I've been using Linux since version 1.0 (that's a good thing!) and I've tried and used many distributions and derivatives of the main ones. Even Gentoo and LFS, mostly for the learning process (That is difficult). I tried Arch almost from the beginning (since 2003, I think) because I've always been very curious. But after having Debian and Kali on my machines for years, one day, 14 years ago, I installed Arch on a new laptop I was given. I had done it many times before, and it occurred to me just for fun. But as time went on, the only machine that didn't give me any problems was that one, the one with Arch Linux. I used it for programming, tinkering with kernels, cross-compiling various projects... it never failed and worked wonderfully. And it was a measly HP with an i5.
That's how I ended up becoming a huge fan and devotee of Arch. Ironically, because it was (and is) the easiest distro to use and maintain of all the ones I've used. I have machines with Fedora, Debian, and Kali, which are also great distros (and they don't give me any problems either).
But a while ago I started to find the ridiculous war against Arch users funny and I started putting the famous meme phrase on my social networks.
I'm not sociable, by the way; anything ridiculously group-oriented or that smells like a herd makes me sick.
