FYI - if you want to use caching in a distributed, event sourced system cache the projections as close to their final form as you can. Any further projection by the client aside for aesthetics is just another boundary between two people and the truth

Procedural TDD is like writing instructions for a machine you haven't built to verify the behaviour for something you haven't defined. The output is going to look like the process. I have no idea what annoyed RSpec looks like in real life, but I expect he develops in Rails.
