Ahora están todos en campaña por convencerte de que son la mejor opción. Yo les diría que traten de ignorar el hype y las discusiones, y vayan directo a las fuentes, lean, investiguen y consideren las opciones según sus propios requicitos y estándares.

¿Necesitás voz, video, texto, que sea rápido, que sea lindo, que tenga botonera de sonidos, que sea simple, que esté lleno de features, que se pueda autoalojar, que lo entienda tu abuelo, que puedas crear canales privados, que sea una app, que se use por una web, que salga todo andando sin tocar nada, que puedas configurar a mano los detalles del servidor, que sea seguro por defecto, que puedas agregarle capas de seguridad encima...?

No todo el mundo usa/ba Discord de la misma manera ni para las mismas cosas, entonces si alguna recomendación pretende cubrir todos los casos y se presente simplemente como "la mejor alternativa a Discord", desconfiaría.
