Neville ParkI think the main message to take away from Disco Elysium is the importance of having a robust urban heritage preservation regulatory framework. Imagine if those other six historic churches had been preserved.

nixI'm really enjoying Esoteric Ebb even tho I fell off Disc Elysium. The setting helps a lot. For those unaware, Esoteric Ebb is very much the same mechanics as Disco but with D&D trappings. You assign the basic 6 stats, and they offer you council as voices in your head.
Disco was too bleak for me, it just was an unpleasant time. And the particular brand of political options available didn't really speak to me. Esoteric Ebb stars the player as a cleric, seemingly just brought back from the dead, trying to solve the explosion of a tea shop days before a city's first ever election. There's still all the politics and morality and intrigue and tension, but in a world that seems to contain more hope. It's overall more vibrant, and the silliness feels less nihilistic too.

Parece que han hecho la típica de protagonista con amnesia, pero está curioso porque así puedes ir llenando ese vacío, descubriendo su pasado o tomando decisiones sobre su forma de ser. De momento creo que me he hecho feminista y estoy en proceso de hacerme comunista.
Es un poco 'mucho texto, el videojuego', pero parece que está muy bien escrito, bien doblado (al inglés) y hay que jugarlo con el cerebro encendido. Merece la pena.
Eso sí, estoy viendo que me conviene hacer quick save cada dos pasos, porque a la mínima que meto la pata en algo, al protagonista le entra depresión y tengo game over.
