“Het Mahatma Gandhi Plantsoen” 🪴 (“Mahatma Gandhi Garden”), near the entrance of “ARTIS ZOO”, features some nice sculptures by African artist Papa Adama. These include a female figure and two dinosaurs made from welded aluminum, installed around 2008. 👩🏼 🦖

Created by local residents, the garden is an educational space inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy. Alongside Adama’s work, it includes a few artworks by other artists.

Adama’s art gives the garden a special feel and shows its focus on culture and learning. 🌍 📚👩🏻‍🏫
