Cataloging and tagging old photos today, I was surprised that this was my earliest digital photo (2004) of one of my bicycles. I'd been bicycling and sometimes using the bus for nine years by this time.

This was the old "Circuit City" building. I miss when retail stores had actual live experts on their products selling them.

MORGUE

Ho maturato la consapevolezza che il mio corpo è un veicolo per la mia intelligenza. Uno come un altro, intendo. Così come l’automobile lo è per il corpo, allo stesso modo il mio corpo è solo un veicolo per la mia mente pura.
Oppure, come un vestito. Si, il vestito è più diretto come esempio. Per cui, quando il mio corpo invecchierà, quando sarà ormai pieno di toppe e rammendi, come un vestito lo butterò via a vantaggio di uno nuovo.
Prenderò il primo che viene partorito, in qualsiasi parte del mondo esso si trovi. E la mia intelligenza tornerà ad essere vestita dignitosamente, a nuovo, quasi fosse uscita dalla sartoria.
Anch’io crederò di essere un’altra persona, e farò di tutto perché sia affermata nella società in cui si trova. Come se fossi davvero unico, e irripetibile.
E senza peccati, naturalmente.
Ché quelli te li attribuiscono gli uomini.
