I don't know how, yet, but I want to instigate a Hard No to our writing and communications being passed by default through AI (that is learning from us).

That means that I will be looking for ways to not use anything with an AI assistant or which passes regular search queries to GenAI systems by default. It means I will look for ways to stop using anything which sends our writing or speech, by default, to a third party for processing.

If you aren't already, I suggest you join me in this. We should not be allowing our conversations and writing to be processed by a third party - an AI language processor owned by a corporation - by default!

It is already being normalised (since Siri and Alexa, I guess?) and it is a terrible idea, leading only to control and repression. It must be resisted at every turn, even though it's probably already too late.

I'm getting another pocket paper journal - writing ideas hastily with a pen is faster anyway!

How can US based hyperscales built in Europe strengthen European Sovereignty? By planting US hyperscalers here... the countries where those servers are planted now ALSO get access to all this data. So the sovereignity lies in the fact that the domestic governmental agencies can now ALSO get access to the data that is stored on these servers.

The only people who are worse off... are the citizens.
