FYI #elektron device havers, if you're on Linux Elektroid is a really good open source version of the Elektron Transfer application. I've been able to upgrade my Digitakt 2 firmware and load a bunch of samples this evening without any issues. It can be installed as a Flatpak as well.

I have a Digitakt II but...I'm not sure I like Elektron's workflow. This thing is incredibly powerful, so maybe I'm just missing something?

For comparison, I am in love with my TR-8S. Hardware controls for every damn thing, sequencer is intuitive, but it's definitely a more limited machine than the Digitakt II.

Thoughts?
