I heard this #DickGaughan song in the radio today for the first time. Its simultaneously one if the most #Scottish songs I've ever heard, and totally obscure outwith a constituency of Scots of a certain age. A classic of his oeuvre nonetheless IMHO. #folkmusic

Amazing to get this much anticipated cd box set of the great Dick Gaughan. Rare and uncollected tracks with all proceeds to the great man himself. I was lucky enough to see Dick play a few times and he was a master of his art.

An excellent Sunday afternoon listen. Cracking guitar playing from Dick Gaughan. “Coppers and Brass”, originally released in 1977. #guitar #DickGaughan #traditionalMusic #folkMusic
