i figured out that you can derive the melodic minor scale by sharping the 7th degree of the Dorian mode! that realization inspired this little chord progression, which i decided to put on a reggaeton beat because one of my friends told me he has been really into reggaeton lately :) this one is just for fun, but who knows... it could work as a jam

A little more progress in the new studio today. I spent the morning searching through boxes and cupboards trying to find some guitar hangers which I knew I had somewhere. Finally managed to find them and put them up this afternoon, so I've got space to downsize from an 8-guitar rack to a 5-guitar rack, and make some space for some of my diatonic accordions.

Presenting the Kass Layout, a two-row D/G layout that I've altered to have the appropriate accidentals in the correct bellows direction to play the twiddly chromatic ornaments if you start the tune on E4. Also had to repurpose the bottom button of the G row for more accidentals.
(Edit: this layout is garbage and you probably shouldn't actually spend time or money on it)
