Brad Bondi, brother of U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, was roundly defeated in his attempt to lead Washington, D.C.'s local bar association. More than 38,000 votes were cast — record turnout in a contentious race where attorneys were concerned that Bondi might "interfere with proceedings to benefit President Donald Trump," Bloomberg Law reports. Diane Seltzer, an employment lawyer, received more than 34,000 votes compared to 3,490 for Bondi — meaning her vote share was 90.9%. Here's more.
