#Diablo4 is just #Diablo2 with a pretty dress. Nothing of significance has changed, but what was mind blowing in 2000 I found boring and repetitive in 2026. Yes, the graphics is good. Yes, some of the quests and sub-quests are well written. But the game still boils down to getting into an area, find a million monsters waiting for you, click on everything very fast, be blinded by the million sparkling effects, have no clue about what has happened, realize you just win, get showered with a ton of loot.
That's it. That is the game. There are a ton of mechanics to forge and reinforce new equipment, but unless you are deepminto the end game (well after you completed the story), they are uniformly useless, as you are likely to get a better piece of equipment dropping randomly in a few minutes (no, I have no clue why this ghost had a magic pair of boots, or why there was a plate armor under that rock. Nobody knows.)
If you liked it, great, have fun. But I found it very middling.
