RycochetWhen you see people excited because they've made direwolves just like in that tv show that people liked, don't forget it is going to be used as an excuse not to publicly fund conservation efforts for years to come. A large number of actual canid species are at or below the numbers needed to remain viable and people who are doing real work could have used the money spaffed away on this to protect them.
