Demonstration of a custom font presented as a letter written by candle light. Work in progress as I attempt to learn how to code, make art and sound for the Master System. Encouraged to share this basic "Hello World" to encourage myself to keep learning and developing.

21th place: "Akalabeth1000" for the #SEGA #SG1000 (by dark).
It started out as a proof of concept (PoC) for the Sega SC-3000, focusing on the drawing routines. Later, I became interested in how the game works at its core. The GW-Basic port of Akalabeth, which is itself a port of Applesoft Basic, served as the template.

13th place: "Stalactites" for the #SEGA #MasterSystem (by haroldoop).
Use your rapid firing gun to destroy the quickly growing stalactites. This is a clone of Thomas Jentzsch's "StalaX". From the top, stalactites will grow towards the bottom. When one reaches the bottom, the game is over. Also drips will fall from the stalactites. When they reach the bottom or collide with your gun, you will lose energy.
