That young fawn has really grown over the summer, and doe and her fawn were in the front yard in full sunlight. The alert ears are due to the cats nearby.

Even zucchini keep all winter if allowed to ripen enough on the vine. Pumpkins keep fine if they do not freeze. The design was cut while the fruit was still green and is fully healed. The longest lasting of the squashes I grow seems to be butternut, I still have some from last year in the sun in the solarium.
